The biggest celebrity relationship story this week was the one that DIDN’T happen. Al Gore did NOT have a two-year long affair with “Seinfeld” creator Larry David’s ex-wife Laurie David, contrary to a report in Star magazine. “Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers,” an “insider” told Star. “It couldn’t be avoided.”

Um, actually, it could be avoided. Laurie, and environmentalist who worked with Al on his 2006 Oscar-winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” told the Huffington Post on Tuesday that the report is an absolute lie.

“The story is completely untrue,” she said. “It’s a total fabrication. I adore both Al and Tipper. I look at them both as family. And I have happily been in a serious relationship since my divorce.”

Sometimes the truth is … inconvenient.

Megan Fox Off the Market … Again

Hottie-of-the-moment Megan Fox is engaged to marry former “90210” star Brian Austin Green … again.

“Yes, she is engaged,” a rep for the actress, whose action film Jonah Hex opens on Friday, told People.

Fox, 24, and Green, 36, who met in 2004, initially got engaged in November 2006, only to call it off in February 2009. At the time, a source said the decision to was “mutual.”

While we’ve questioned why an up and coming movie star would link herself to a fading 1990s TV star (a bit cynical, we know), everything Fox says about Green almost convinces us that he’s the one.

“He’s the one person that I know that if I’m struggling and everything’s getting crazy, I can call,” she told Elle magazine last year.

But we wonder: Does she mind that he lost his virginity to Donna Martin?

Old Guy Marries Younger Woman – And Nobody Cares

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart finally made it official on Tuesday. And what a way to ruin our story — they’ve been together so long that nobody is outraged by their 22-year age difference. Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, began dating after meeting at the 2002 Golden Globes. They both have been raising Liam, 9, whom Flockhart adopted in 2001.

This is the first marriage for Flockhart, and the third for Ford, who also has four older children.

This time around, we hope the force is with you, Harrison! And perhaps Calista will put on some “love chub” and stop making the rest of us feel like fatties.

More than a year after Bristol, 19, and her babydaddy Levi, 20, broke off their engagement, a source close to Bristol “thinks” they are back together, usmagazine.com reports.

“Now that Mama Palin is out of the picture and Bristol is on her own in Anchorage, they spend more time together than most people think. Levi even stays overnight. I even think they are back together.”
